So I haven’t written in awhile but maybe this will help. Being a journalist is not easy. Actually now that I wrote that I’m trying so very hard to recall a time that it was easy.. Anyways.. this week I had
Monday off because it was a holiday.. and much needed I might add. But Oh am I paying for it now. 7 a.m. to 9 p.m. work days. It’s terrible to say the least. Especially because I am myself not an early bird at all. But only a couple of more weeks left in Cyn City– I can’t believe it! Not really looking forward to moving home though.

On another exciting note though, found out yesterday that I WILL be going to see GAGA next week with Christina!! OMGAGA!

That’s all the energy I have in me to write for now.

A novel idea

So having spent the last 10 years or so trying to be or being a relationship with a guy.. I’ve had enough.I’m 20. I didn’t even ask for a ring and I got this. Why is it always the nice girls that try hard and want to make something of themselves and have a stable future get this?… Is that really too much to ask? Because how are you getting through life without a plan? That’s what I would like to know.

I’ve spent more than half of my life concerned with looking cute, smelling good, trying to create memories, put thought into gifts and his interests… and for what? Nothing. Nothing ever changes. It’s the same you’re perfect, I could never leave you, idk, every time.

So yours truly has decided to enter into the most unthinkable. One well deserved notion. As of 10:27 p.m. on a Thursday night, I am now in a relationship with myself. It sounds lonely if you say it aloud but it’s not so bad. In fact, actually kind of like it.You get to be you. All the time. No schedule.

You know what this is the best idea I could have had… to work on me… because who is the only one that’s left for you when the “us” goes away? It’s ME.

Because I've got a one way ticket...
